A very dapper-looking unreleased Jordan sample is finally making its way to stores, and just in time for prom! The Air Jordan 11 Retro "Cap And Gown" first appeared 2011 as a sample from the Air Jordan "Blackout Collection", which featured black mono versions of every Air Jordan from 1 - 23. It has existed since then as only an exquisite tease, a fantasy for any Jordan lover who has a wedding/prom/graduation/funeral/job interview/court date to attend. That fantasy finally becomes reality with this weekend's release of the mythical shoe now known as the Air Jordan 11 Retro "Cap And Gown".

The Air Jordan 11 has long been a go-to footwear choice for formal occasions due to their clean lines and patent leather construction, and the "Cap And Gown" takes that concept to its natural conclusion with a gorgeous all-black tonal makeup. Nicknamed for the inevitable certainty that these kicks will be on the feet of a significant number of graduates this spring, these shoes feature a black premium nubuck and patent leather upper with a black lining, laces, branding and midsole on top of an icy blue outsole.
