AIR JORDAN 3 RETRO OG "BLACK CEMENT"
The GOAT has returned! The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG "Black Cement", long regarded as the greatest Air Jordan style of all time, is finally back with the original Nike Air branding on the heel for the first time since 2001. Originally released in 1988 and worn by Michael at that that year's NBA All Star game, the shoe returns for its 30th anniversary right in time for this year's All Star festivities on February 17th, MJ's birthday.
The "Black Cement" has received retro releases in 1994, 2001, 2008 and 2011, but it is getting the remastered treatment for the first time this year. Retaining it's original styling and colors, the shoe is constructed from a primarily black, premium tumbled leather upper with cement grey perf leather on the tongue, eyestay and collar, and the signature elephant print panels on the toecap and heel. Fire red accents hit the insole, outsole, lower eyelets and the Jumpman on the tongue, while a white midsole with a heel-based Max Air unit and cement grey outsole supplies the base. Of course the standout feature from this year's release is the return of the original Nike Air branding on the heel, bringing the shoe back to its true 1988 appearance. It does not get any better than this, the pinnacle of sneaker design, the GOAT sneaker of the GOAT baller, quite simply... the best.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG "Black Cement" will be available on Saturday, February 17th @ 10:00am in-store at select City Blue locations, and via email order at cityblueshop.com on a first come, first serve basis.
