The Air Max '97 is getting a makeover for it's 20th birthday with Nike's new Air Max '97 Ultra '17. The iconic silhouette receives a modern rebuild with a one piece jacquard knit upper with synthetic overlays, like the "taped" down reflective wavy lines that replace the leather and embroidered lines found on the original. A remade pull tab with new lettering along with taped branding in lieu of embroidery on the side panel and tongue add to the lightness and breathability. The signature full-length Air Sole unit has a reduced PSI level which, in addition to the cored out Ultra outsole, reduces the weight and increases the comfort while adding to the striking new look of the remodeled runner.

The new Air max '97 Ultra '17 will be available in 5 colors, including the OG "Silver Bullet" colorway, on Saturday, August 5th in-store at select City Blue locations and via email order.
