In 1973 New York Knicks guard and noted style aficionado, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, asked Puma to make him a custom pair of Suedes that were wider and lighter but still as tough and durable. They obliged, and a legendary sneaker was born. Today, Puma Clydes come in many different colors and materials, like this version that features a white leather upper with a tumbled leather formstripe. It sits on the traditional rubber cupsole, while gold foil branding stamped on the side panel provides the signature detail.
