2015 is the 30th anniversary of the debut of the Air Jordan, and Jordan Brand has a whole slew of special releases planned in celebration. First up is the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan 1. Like many of the 30th anniversary-related releases coming out in the beginning of the year, the Air Jordan 1 Retro OG High "Laser" gets the laser etching technique that debuted on the Air Jordan XX. 

The all white leather upper features metallic silver etching depicting references to the past 30 years of Air Jordan sneakers, obscuring the Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. The swoosh is decked out in silver reflective material, matching the Nike Air tag on the tongue. Finishing off the look is a gleaming white midsole with an icy blue outsole, both offering contrast to the upper while complimenting the silver swoosh. Get ready, for this is only the first of a long line of anniversary releases set for this year long celebration.
