One of the most famous Air Jordan colorways of all time is set to make its return with this weekend's release of the Air Jordan 13 Retro "He Got Game". The iconic shoes, last released in 2013, were made famous in Spike Lee's classic 1998 film He Got Game as Jake Shuttlesworth's (played by Denzel Washington) sneaker of choice. Worn on court by MJ during the '97-'98 season, the shoe features a white tumbled leather upper with black tumbled leather tongue and toebox, and black suede mudguard and heel piece. Black and white also hit the midsole, and True Red pops the Jumpman branding on the tongue and insole as well as the rubber outsole. Finally, the signature "Cat's eye" holographic marble on the ankle finishes off the design. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the film's release, Jordan Brand is packaging the sneakers in their original shoebox.
The Air Jordan 13 Retro "He Got Game" will be available on Saturday, August 4th at 10:00am both in-store at select City Blue locations and via email order at cityblueshop.com.
