The Air Jordan 5 Retro OG "Metallic Silver" is arguably the most anticipated Jordan release of this entire year, due in no small part to the Nike Air branding on the heels. Of course this is also one of the most beloved colorways of the Air Jordan 5, but the presence of the original Nike branding takes it from OMG to OMFG!.

The "Metallic Silver" 5 is part of the "Metallic Pack" of three Air Jordan 5's coming out this summer that pay homage to the Olympic medals that MJ has won. The metallic silver on the reflective tongue and sharkteeth represent the (duh) silver medal, and pop nicely against the jet black nubuck upper and midsole. A red Jumpman on the tongue and red lacelock toggle recall both the Bulls uniform and, along with the white Nike Air branding and icy blue outsole, the USA basketball uniform. Debossed Nike text on the bottom of the outsole and red Nike Air sockliners complete the OG styling.

It doesn't get much better than this folks. The Air Jordan 5 Retro OG "Metallic Silver" will drop this Saturday, July 23rd at select City Blue locations.
