Kyrie Irving may have moved on from Beantown, but it hasn't yet moved on from him as Boston-based brand, Bandulu, brings their "Street Couture" sensibility to the Kyrie 5. Best known for upcycling high quality vintage apparel to create brand new handmade pieces, Bandulu has crafted a Kyrie 5 that features an ivory colored engineered mesh upper haphazardly covered in multi-colored pastel embroidery that mimics the look of paint drips and splatters.

A small white embroidered swoosh on the toe and large purple embroidered swoosh on the medial side sit on top of these "splatters," while a larger fused white swoosh on the lateral side is overlaid with "drips." A grass-like green hits the tongue and lining, red and white cover the midsole and outsole, and all three colors meet on the co-branded tongue tag.

The branding continues with "Kyrie" and "Irving" stitched across each vamp, and "Nike Basketball" and "Bandulu Street Couture" embroidered on the lightly embossed heel wraps. A gum rubber outsole patterned after Kyrie's Hamsa tattoo provides a final lifestyle touch to the design.
